Ruins of Streets of Stone
The Privateers: A band of anarchist mages who swear no allegiance to the local Consilium. Officially, the Consilium views them as unpredictable and advises other mages to avoid them, though rumor has it that the Consilium enlisted their help to avert a major disaster in the past. Mostly, though, the Privateers keep to themselves and are largely ignored by the Consilium as long as their goals do not clash with or harm other mages. Rumors have it that they make their sanctums on boats and live on the water though that may just be the overactive imaginations of initiates taking stories of these “pirate mages” a bit too literally.
Sons of Ponce: A group of mages continuing Ponce de Leon’s search for the “fountain of youth.” The Sons (some Free Council mages maintain they should change their name to “Children of Ponce” to be more politically correct) believe that the fountain of youth found in St. Augustine does actually have some restorative properties, and are working at trying to create a powerful longevity elixir.
Psi Beta Psi: A “secret society” at Flagler College. Psi Beta is comprised mainly of Awakened students and faculty, though others are not barred from joining. It is mainly a social organization designed to give its members a place to relax and help to deal with running “real lives” while being a mage. Psi Beta’s membership is fairly lax and many of its members come and go, or are even members of other, more “serious” cabals.
